In large skillet over medium heat, combine 1 tablespoon orange zest and orange juice, brown sugar, stock, and wine, and season with salt and pepper. Mix with a spoon, add carrots, and bring to a boil. Simmer and cook, covered, 5 minutes.
2. Stage
Remove cover and cook until liquid is reduced by half, 8 to 10 minutes more. Add butter and continue simmering until carrots are tender and sauce has turned into a glaze.

Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
