1. 2 c. Bisquick -
2. 1/2 c. sour cream -
3. 1/2 c. Seltzer -
4. 1/4 c. melted butter, plus 1 tbsp for brushing -
5. 1 tbsp. maple syrup -
6. 5 sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled -
7. 1 tsp. kosher salt -
8. 6 eggs -
9. 1 tbsp. chopped chives -
10. Kosher salt -
11. Freshly ground black pepper -
12. 1 tsp. lemon juice, optional* -
13. 1 tbsp. butter -
14. 1 c. Grated Cheddar -

How to cook deliciously - Brunch Bread

1. Stage

Preheat oven to 325° and grease a glass loaf pan. In a large bowl, combine bisquick, sour cream, seltzer, melted butter, maple syrup, bacon and salt and mix until combined. Set aside.

In a large bowl combine eggs and chives and season with salt and pepper. If using, add lemon juice. Whisk until yolks and whites are mixed.

In a large skillet over medium-low heat, melt butter. Add eggs to skillet and cook, stirring frequently, until they are slightly underdone. Remove from heat.

4. Stage

Pour half of dough into greased loaf pan, spreading to the edges. Add a ½ cup cheese in an even layer, then all the scrambled eggs, and then another layer of remaining cheese. Top with remaining dough. Brush top with butter.

5. Stage

Bake until slightly browned, 40 to 45 minutes. Let cool slightly in pan before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.
