1. 1 c. (2 sticks) butter, softened -
2. 1 c. packed brown sugar -
3. 1/2 c. granulated sugar -
4. 1 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract -
5. 2 large eggs, room temperature -
6. 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour -
7. 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda -
8. 1 tsp. kosher salt -
9. 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon -
10. 1/3 c. quick-cooking oats -
11. 2 1/2 c. semisweet chocolate chips -
12. 3/4 c. chopped walnuts -

How to cook deliciously - Copycat DoubleTree Chocolate Chip Cookies

1. Stage

Preheat oven to 350°. Line two baking sheets with parchment. In a large mixing bowl using a hand mixer, cream butter, sugars, and vanilla until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes. Slowly mix in eggs, beating until mixture is smooth.

In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually stir dries into the butter-sugar mixture, then fold in oats, chocolate chips, and walnuts.

3. Stage

Use a large cookie scoop to place balls of dough about 2" apart on prepared baking sheets. Bake until edges are lightly golden but center of cookie is still a bit soft, 17 to 19 minutes.
