Ingredients for - Eggnog Poke Cake

1. Cooking spray, for pan
2. 1 box vanilla cake mix, plus ingredients called for on box
3. 2 (5.1-oz) boxes instant vanilla pudding mix
4. 2 1/2 c. eggnog
5. 1/2 c. spiced rum
6. 3 c. whipped topping, such as Cool Whip
7. 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
8. Pinch nutmeg

How to cook deliciously - Eggnog Poke Cake

1 . Stage

Preheat oven to 350º and grease and flour a 9"-x-13" cake pan. Prepare cake mix according to box instructions. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 26 to 28 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes.

2 . Stage

Meanwhile, prepare pudding: In a small bowl, whisk together pudding packets, eggnog, and rum until thick. Set aside.

3 . Stage

Using the bottom of a wooden spoon, poke holes all over the cake. Spread pudding mixture on top. Top with whipped topping and sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg. Slice and serve.
