1. 1/4 c. (2 oz.) cream cheese, room temperature -
2. 3 tbsp. mayonnaise -
3. 1/4 tsp. garlic powder -
4. 1/4 tsp. onion powder -
5. 1/4 tsp. cayenne -
6. 2 c. (8 oz.) shredded sharp cheddar cheese -
7. 1 (4 oz.) jar diced pimento, drained and roughly chopped -
8. Kosher salt -
9. 1/4 c. unsalted butter, melted -
10. 8 slices Sara Lee Honey Wheat Bread -
11. 16 very thin slices black forest ham  -
12. 4 tbsp. unsalted butter, melted -
13. 8 sandwich sliced pickles -

How to cook deliciously - Ham and Pimento Grilled Cheese Sandwich

1. Stage

In a medium bowl, stir cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne until smooth. Add cheddar and pimento and stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste, if necessary.

2. Stage

Brush butter on one side of each slice of Sara Lee Honey Wheat Bread. Flip bread over and generously spread pimento cheese (about ½ cup per slice) on other side of each slice. Top half of the slices with ham. Close the sandwich with the remaining halves.

3. Stage

Heat a large cast iron skillet or nonstick skillet over medium. Add two sandwiches. Cook until bread is golden and cheese is starting to melt, about 2 minutes. Flip and continue to cook until cheese is melty and other side is golden, about 2 minutes more. Remove to a plate and repeat with remaining sandwiches. Slice sandwiches in half.
