Ingredients for - Lemon Blueberry Daiquiri

1. 1/2 c. granulated sugar -
2. 1/2 c. water -
3. 1 c. fresh or frozen blueberries -
4. Zest of 1 medium lemon -
5. Ice -
6. 2 oz. light rum -
7. 1 oz. freshly squeezed lemon juice -
8. 3/4 oz. prepared simple syrup -
9. Fresh blueberries, for garnish -
10. Lemon peel, for garnish -

How to cook deliciously - Lemon Blueberry Daiquiri

1. Stage

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar and water and stir until sugar has dissolved. Add blueberries and bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until blueberries have burst, about 5 minutes.

2. Stage

Remove from heat, stir in lemon zest, and let cool 10 minutes. Strain mixture into a clean jar and let cool to room temperature, about 20 minutes. (You will have enough blueberry simple syrup for at least 4 drinks.)

3. Stage

Fill a shaker with ice. Add rum, lemon juice, and simple syrup and shake until chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe and serve garnished with blueberries and a lemon peel.
