Ingredients for - Lemon Blueberry Daiquiri

1. 1/2 c. granulated sugar
2. 1/2 c. water
3. 1 c. fresh or frozen blueberries
4. Zest of 1 medium lemon
5. Ice
6. 2 oz. light rum
7. 1 oz. freshly squeezed lemon juice
8. 3/4 oz. prepared simple syrup
9. Fresh blueberries, for garnish
10. Lemon peel, for garnish

How to cook deliciously - Lemon Blueberry Daiquiri

1 . Stage

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar and water and stir until sugar has dissolved. Add blueberries and bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until blueberries have burst, about 5 minutes.

2 . Stage

Remove from heat, stir in lemon zest, and let cool 10 minutes. Strain mixture into a clean jar and let cool to room temperature, about 20 minutes. (You will have enough blueberry simple syrup for at least 4 drinks.)

3 . Stage

Fill a shaker with ice. Add rum, lemon juice, and simple syrup and shake until chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe and serve garnished with blueberries and a lemon peel.
