1. Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
2. Long-grain rice - 1 cup
3. Water - 2 ½ cups
4. Tomato-flavored bouillon powder (such as Knorr®) - 1 ½ tablespoons
5. Onion Powder - 2 pinches
6. Garlic powder - 2 pinches

How to cook deliciously - Mexican Tomato-Flavored Rice

1. Stage

Heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add rice and fry until golden brown, 2 to 3 minutes. Gradually stream water into the saucepan while stirring rice. Stir in tomato powder, onion powder, and garlic powder.

2. Stage

Bring mixture to a boil and cook for 2 minutes. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and cook until rice has absorbed almost all liquid, about 15 minutes. Remove from the heat and let sit, covered, until remaining liquid is absorbed, about 5 minutes.
