2. Whole cloves - 40
3. Firmly packed brown sugar - 1 cup
4. Bourbon whiskey - ¼ cup
5. Freshly ground black pepper - 1 ½ teaspoons

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).

Raise oven temperature to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
