Ingredients for - Thai Hot and Sour Soup

1. Chicken stock - 3 cups
2. Tom yum paste - 1 tablespoon
3. Garlic, finely chopped - ½ clove
4. Lemon grass, chopped - 3 stalks
5. Makrut lime leaves - 2
6. Skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - shredded - 2
7. Fresh mushrooms, thinly sliced - 4 ounces
8. Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
9. Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
10. Chopped green chile pepper - 1 teaspoon
11. Fresh coriander, chopped - 1 bunch
12. Fresh basil, chopped - 1 sprig

How to cook deliciously - Thai Hot and Sour Soup

1. Stage

Bring the chicken stock to a boil in a large saucepan. Stir in the tom yum paste and garlic, and cook for about 2 minutes. Stir in the lemon grass and lime leaves. Place the chicken in the saucepan, and cook 5 minutes, or until no longer pink and juices run clear.

2. Stage

Mix in the mushrooms. Add the fish sauce, lime juice, and green chile pepper. Continue cooking until well blended. Remove from heat, and serve warm with the coriander and basil.
