1. 1/2 cup butter, softened -
2. 3/4 cup sugar -
3. 1 large egg -
4. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract -
5. 1-1/3 cups all-purpose flour -
6. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda -
7. 1/2 teaspoon salt -
8. 2 Baby Ruth candy bars (2.1 ounces each), chopped -

How to cook deliciously - Baby Ruth Cookies

1. Stage

In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, 5-7 minutes. Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture. Stir in candy bars.

2. Stage

Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 in. apart onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Immediately remove to wire racks to cool.
