1. 1/2 cup butter, softened -

8. 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries -

How to cook deliciously - Blueberry Pound Cake

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Cream the butter and sugar in a large bowl until the mixture is fluffy and light, five to seven minutes. Beat in the eggs, milk and vanilla extract. Mix the flour and baking powder in another bowl, and add the dry mix to the creamed mixture until just combined. Gently fold in the blueberries.

2. Stage

Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan. Pour the batter into the pan; combine the cinnamon and sugar, and sprinkle the mixture over the top of the batter. Bake the cake for 50 to 55 minutes. When the cake is done, a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake should come out clean. Let the cake cool for 10 minutes in its pan, and then remove the cake and place it on a wire rack. Let it cool completely.
