1. Frozen deep-dish pie crust - 1 (9 inch)
2. White sugar - 1 cup
3. All-purpose flour - 1 tablespoon
4. Eggs, lightly beaten - 3 large
5. Sweetened flaked coconut - ½ cup
6. Evaporated milk - ½ cup
7. Unsalted butter, softened - ⅓ cup
8. Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

Bake pie crust in the preheated oven until lightly browned, about 10 minutes. Remove from the oven. Reduce oven temperature to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
