1. 2 cups fresh orange juice -

3. 1 tablespoon grated orange zest -
4. 1/8 teaspoon salt -
5. 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream -
6. 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract, optional -

How to cook deliciously - Orange Sherbet

1. Stage

In a large bowl, combine the orange juice, orange zest, sugar and salt, and give it a good whisk until the sugar and salt are dissolved. Pour in the heavy cream slowly, continuing to whisk until everything is combined. If you're opting to use the vanilla extract, add a splash at the end and mix it in.

Place the bowl in the refrigerator for an hour or so until the mixture is well chilled.

3. Stage

Fill the cylinder of an ice cream maker no more than two-thirds full, and freeze the sherbet, following the manufacturer's directions. Once it's frozen, transfer the sherbet to smaller freezer containers, leaving some room at the top for expansion. Freeze until the sherbet is firm, about eight hours or even overnight.
