1. Evaporated milk - 1 cup
2. White sugar - 1 cup
3. Egg yolks - 3 large
4. Unsalted butter - ½ cup
5. Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
6. Flaked coconut - 1 ½ cups
7. Chopped pecans - 1 cup

How to cook deliciously - Coconut Pecan Frosting

1. Stage

Combine milk, sugar, egg yolks, butter, and vanilla in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring frequently, until thickened, 10 to 15 minutes.

2. Stage

Remove from the heat and stir in coconut and pecans. Let stand, stirring occasionally, for 30 to 45 minutes before using.
