3. Quick-cooking tapioca ¼ cup
4. Cream sherry ¼ cup

6. Ground allspice ¼ teaspoon
7. All-purpose flour ½ cup
8. White sugar ½ cup
9. Cold margarine ¼ cup
10. Crunchy wheat and barley cereal ¾ cup
11. Finely chopped walnuts ⅓ cup

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Mix plums, brown sugar, tapioca, sherry, nutmeg, and allspice together in a 9x13-inch baking pan. Let stand, stirring occasionally, until tapioca has softened, about 20 minutes.
