How to cook deliciously - Eggs In A Basket

1. Stage

In a medium skillet over medium heat, melt butter.

2. Stage

Use a large glass or paring knife to cut a hole in the middle of your bread about 2” in diameter. When butter has melted, place bread, and the bread round that was removed from the slice, into the skillet.

3. Stage

Carefully crack egg into the hole in toast. Cook, undisturbed, for 2 to 3 minutes, depending on how runny you like your yolk. Flip and let cook 20 to 30 seconds longer, then transfer to plate and season with salt and pepper.
