1. Fresh peaches - peeled, pitted and chopped 2 ½ pounds
2. Half-and-half cream 1 pint
3. White sugar ½ cup
4. Sweetened condensed milk 1 (14 ounce) can
5. Evaporated milk 1 (12 fluid ounce) can
6. Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
7. Whole milk, or as needed 2 cups

1 . Stage

Working in batches, purée peaches with half-and-half and sugar in a blender or food processor.

2 . Stage

Mix together peach mixture, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and vanilla in a gallon ice cream freezer container. Pour enough whole milk into the container to reach the fill line, about 2 cups.

3 . Stage

Pour mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's instructions, about 20 minutes. Transfer to an airtight container and freeze until firm, about 4 hours.
