1. Granny Smith apples - peeled, cored and sliced 5 large
2. White sugar ½ cup
3. All-purpose flour 2 tablespoons
4. Ground cinnamon ½ teaspoon
5. Lemon juice 2 tablespoons
6. White sugar ½ cup
7. All-purpose flour ½ cup
8. Butter ½ cup
9. Pastry for a 9 inch single crust pie 1 recipe

How to cook deliciously - Dutch Apple Pie

1 . Stage

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).

2 . Stage

Combine 1/2 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, and cinnamon. Pour over apples in crust. Sprinkle lemon juice on top.

3 . Stage

Cut 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup flour, and 1/2 cup butter or margarine together, and top pie with the mixture.

4 . Stage

Take two 15 inch pieces of parchment paper and enclose pie; fold edges up 3 times. Place on a baking sheet.

5 . Stage

Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour. Remove from oven, split parchment open and cool pie on wire rack. DO NOT open parchment covering while baking! Serve warm, or at room temperature. KNITTINQUEEN
