3. Tomato paste - 1 (6 ounce) can

5. Water - ½ cup
6. White sugar - ⅜ cup
7. White vinegar - ¼ cup
8. Dark miso paste - ¼ cup
9. Soy sauce (Japanese- or Thai-style) - 2 tablespoons
10. Worcestershire sauce - 2 tablespoons
11. Dry mustard - 2 teaspoons
12. Chili powder - 1 teaspoon
13. Grated fresh ginger - 1 teaspoon
14. Red pepper flakes - 1 teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Japanese Influenced BBQ Sauce

1. Stage

Heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook and stir garlic in hot oil until fragrant, 2 to 3 minutes.
