3. White sugar 1 teaspoon
4. Baking powder 1 teaspoon
5. Baking soda ½ teaspoon
6. Eggs 2
7. Buttermilk 2 cups
8. Melted butter, divided 5 tablespoons
9. Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
10. Brown sugar ¾ cup
11. Hot water ⅜ cup
12. Ground cinnamon 1 tablespoon
13. Confectioners' sugar ¾ cup
14. Skim milk, or as needed 2 tablespoons

How to cook deliciously - Michele's Cinnamon Roll Waffles

1 . Stage

Preheat a waffle iron according to manufacturer's instructions and spray with non-stick cooking spray.

Whisk whole wheat flax flour, white sugar, baking powder, and baking soda together in a large bowl. Whisk eggs, buttermilk, 1 tablespoon melted butter, and vanilla extract together in a separate bowl; pour into flour mixture and stir just until batter is combined.

Pour about 1/3 cup batter into waffle iron; close lid and bake until golden brown, about 2 minutes. Repeat with remaining batter, keeping waffles warm.
