1. 7 cups thinly sliced peeled tart apples (about 7 medium) -
2. 1 cup sugar -
3. 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour -
4. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon -
5. Dash salt -
6. 1/4 cup water -
7. 1 package (9 ounces) yellow cake mix -
8. 3/4 cup quick-cooking oats -
9. 1/3 cup butter, softened -
10. 1/4 cup packed brown sugar -
11. 1/4 teaspoon baking powder -
12. 1/4 teaspoon baking soda -
13. Vanilla ice cream -

How to cook deliciously - Oat Apple Crisp

1. Stage

Place apples in a greased 2-1/2 qt. shallow baking dish. In a small bowl, combine the sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt; sprinkle over apples. Drizzle with water. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, oats, butter, brown sugar, baking powder and baking soda. Sprinkle over apples.

2. Stage

Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 45-50 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is golden brown. Serve warm with ice cream.
