Ingredients for - Old Cuban

1. Lime juice - ¾ fluid ounce
2. Fresh mint leaves, divided - 9
3. Dark spiced rum - 2 fluid ounces
4. Simple syrup - 1 ½ fluid ounces
5. Bitters, or more to taste - 2 dashes
6. Ice cubes - 2 dashes
7. Lime - 1 slice
8. Champagne, or more to taste - 2 fluid ounces

How to cook deliciously - Old Cuban

1. Stage

Gently muddle lime juice with 8 mint leaves in a shaker using a wooden spoon or cocktail muddler.

2. Stage

Add rum, simple syrup, bitters, and a handful of ice. Shake until the outside of the shaker has frosted. Strain into a cocktail glass and top with Champagne. Garnish with a slice of lime and the remaining mint leaf.
