1. 1 package (8 ounces) breakfast sausage links -
2. 1 unbaked pie pastry (9 inches) -
3. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese -
4. 4 large eggs -
5. 1 pint heavy whipping cream -
6. 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg -

How to cook deliciously - Sausage Quiche

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a skillet, brown the sausages until no longer pink. Drain. Cut the sausages into small pieces. Place the chopped sausage in the pie shell, and sprinkle with the cheese. In a medium bowl, beat the eggs, then whisk in the cream and nutmeg. Pour the egg mixture over the cheese.

2. Stage

Bake the quiche for 55 to 60 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Editor's Tip: Let the quiche rest for 10 minutes to allow it time to set before cutting and serving.
