1. Water - 5 cups
2. Onions, sliced - 2
3. Tomatoes, sliced - 2
4. Milkfish (bangus), cut into 5 pieces - 1 pound
5. Eggplants, sliced 1/8-inch thick - 2 small
6. Fresh green beans, cut into 1-inch pieces - 1 cup
7. White radishes (labanos), sliced - 2
8. Okra, sliced - 5 pods
9. Small green chile peppers - 3
10. Watercress (kangkong) leaves and stems - 1 cup
11. Tamarind powder - ½ cup
12. Salt to taste - 1 pinch
