Ingredients for - Torchy's Tacos Green Chile Queso

1. Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
2. Minced yellow onion - ⅓ cup
3. Jalapenos, seeded and minced - 2
4. Garlic, minced - 4 cloves
5. Water - 2 cups
6. Diced tomatoes and green chiles (such as RO*TEL®) - 1 (10 ounce) can
7. Hot green chiles - 2 (4 ounce) cans
8. Mild green chiles - 2 (4 ounce) cans
9. Fresh cilantro, stems removed - 1 bunch
10. Processed cheese (such as Velveeta®), cubed - 1 (2 pound) loaf
11. Condensed cream of chicken soup - 2 (10.75 ounce) cans
12. Cream cheese, cubed - 1 (8 ounce) package
13. Hot sauce (such as Valentina®) - 2 tablespoons
14. Ground cumin - ½ teaspoon
15. Chili powder - ½ teaspoon
16. Lime, juiced - 1

How to cook deliciously - Torchy's Tacos Green Chile Queso

1. Stage

Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; add onion and jalapenos. Cook, stirring frequently, until tender, about 5 minutes. Add garlic; cook for 1 minute more and remove from heat.

2. Stage

Transfer jalapeno mixture to a blender. Add water, diced tomatoes, hot green chiles, mild green chiles, and cilantro. Cover and blend on high until mostly smooth.

3. Stage

Pour blended mixture into a large pot over medium heat. Add processed cheese, chicken soup, cream cheese, hot sauce, cumin, and chili powder. Cook and stir until completely melted, 5 to 7 minutes. Stir in lime juice; reduce heat to low.
