1. Tomato, diced 1 large
2. Chopped red onion 2 tablespoons
3. Chopped cilantro ½ cup
4. Honey ½ teaspoon
5. Lime juice 1 teaspoon
6. Balsamic Vinegar 1 tablespoon
7. Salt and pepper to taste 1 tablespoon
8. Bacon grease 1 tablespoon
9. Garlic, minced 1 clove
10. Minced red onion 2 tablespoons
11. Black beans, drained and rinsed 1 (15.5 ounce) can
12. Water 2 tablespoons

How to cook deliciously - Black Beans with Pico de Gallo

1 . Stage

Stir together the tomato, onion, cilantro, and honey. Season with lime juice, vinegar, salt and pepper; set aside.

2 . Stage

Melt bacon grease in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in garlic and onion, cook until softened and translucent, about 3 minutes. Pour in the black beans and water, season to taste with salt and pepper, then simmer for 10 minutes or until hot. Serve topped with pico de gallo.
