How to cook deliciously - Amber gooseberry jam
1. Stage
Prepare the necessary products, as well as cooking utensils (I have a Teflon-coated pot), small scissors with sharp tips, a hairpin, jars and lids. Set aside a dozen clean cherry leaves, they will come in handy later.
2. Stage
3. Stage
Let's make a broth of cherry leaves. Pour the specified amount of water into a pot, wash and put in all the leaves (except the ones that were left out!). Bring the broth to a boil on the fire and cook over low heat for 2-3 minutes, making sure it stays green. Pour our peeled gooseberries into the hot broth, INCLUDING THE LEADS, cool it down and put it in the fridge overnight or for 8-10 hours.
4. Stage
In the morning, prepare the sugar syrup as follows: pour the decoction from the gooseberries, throw away the leaves, add granulated sugar to the broth and bring to a boil. At first, the syrup will be cloudy, but then it will become clear. Pour the berries into the boiling syrup and boil it for about 15-18 minutes, until the gooseberries will be transparent. Then we add the put aside cherry leaves and cook for another 2-3 minutes. The new leaves will remain in the jam, giving it a unique flavor ... Pour the hot jam into sterile jars and twist. That's it, amber gooseberry jam is ready! Of this amount, I got two jars of 800g and a little in a vase. Have a nice and fragrant tea party! You will get a unique range of beauty and flavor!!!
