1. Rolled oats - 1 ½ cups
2. Brown sugar, divided - 1 ½ cups
3. All-purpose flour - ½ cup
4. Butter, softened - ½ cup
5. Peeled and diced apples - 2 cups
6. Peeled and diced pears - 2 cups
7. Ground cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
8. Sliced almonds, or to taste - ½ cup

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

2. Stage

Mix oats, 3/4 cup brown sugar, flour, and butter together in a bowl until crumbly.

3. Stage

Mix apples, pears, remaining 3/4 cup brown sugar, and cinnamon together in a separate bowl; spread into the bottom of a 9x9-inch glass pan. Sprinkle oat mixture atop apple-pear mixture; top with almonds.

Bake in the preheated oven until the top is golden brown, about 40 minutes.
