Ingredients for - Authentic Hungarian Goulash

1. Butter - 2 tablespoons
2. Onions, diced - 2 large
3. Flank steak - 2 pounds
4. Caraway seed - ⅛ teaspoon
5. Dried marjoram - ¼ teaspoon
6. Garlic, minced - 1 clove
7. Paprika - 5 tablespoons
8. Water - 2 cups
9. Potatoes, peeled and cubed - 4 large
10. Salt and pepper to taste - 4 large

How to cook deliciously - Authentic Hungarian Goulash

1. Stage

Melt butter in a large soup pot over medium high heat. Saute onions until soft, then add beef and brown. Stir in caraway seed, marjoram, garlic and paprika. Pour water over all, lower heat to low and simmer for 2 1/2 hours.

2. Stage

Add potatoes and cook until tender, another 45 minutes to 1 hour. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve.
