Ingredients for - Cannoli with Chocolate Chips

1. Confectioners' sugar - 1 cup
2. Part-skim ricotta cheese - 1 pint
3. Blanched slivered almonds - ½ cup
4. Mini semi-sweet chocolate chips - ⅓ cup
5. Amaretto liqueur - 1 tablespoon
6. Cannoli shells - 12
7. Confectioners' sugar - 1 tablespoon
8. Unsweetened cocoa powder - 1 tablespoon
9. Maraschino cherries - 12

How to cook deliciously - Cannoli with Chocolate Chips

1. Stage

In a large bowl, stir ricotta cheese with 1 cup confectioners sugar until combined. Add almonds, chocolate chips and almond liqueur.

2. Stage

Carefully spoon into cannoli shells (or pipe from a pastry bag), filling from the center out.

3. Stage

Sprinkle individual serving plates with powdered sugar and cocoa, or sprinkle on cannoli. Garnish plates with cherries.
