Ingredients for - Chayote Soup

1. Chicken bouillon, crumbled 2 cubes
2. Hot water 2 cups
3. Unsalted butter 1 tablespoon
4. Yellow onion, minced 1 small
5. Garlic, minced 3 cloves
6. Crushed red pepper flakes ¼ teaspoon
7. Chayote squashes, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch pieces 2
8. Chopped fresh cilantro 2 tablespoons
9. Salt and ground black pepper to taste 2 tablespoons
10. Chopped fresh cilantro 1 tablespoon

How to cook deliciously - Chayote Soup

1 . Stage

Dissolve bouillon in hot water; set aside.

2 . Stage

Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Cook and stir onion, garlic, and red pepper in butter until onion is soft. Add squash, 2 tablespoons cilantro, salt, and pepper; stir continually for 5 minutes.

3 . Stage

Stir in bouillon mixture and 1 tablespoon cilantro; cover. Simmer for about 20 minutes.

4 . Stage

Pour mixture into a blender and purée until smooth. Pour into bowls and garnish with a sprig of cilantro to serve.
