Ingredients for - Copycat Chipotle Carnitas

1. 3 lb. boneless pork shoulder -
2. Kosher salt -
3. Freshly ground black pepper -
4. 2 cloves garlic, minced -
5. 1 1/2 c. low-sodium chicken broth -
6. 3 bay leaves -
7. 4 sprigs fresh thyme (or 1 tsp. dried) -
8. Juice of 1 lemon -
9. 2 sprigs rosemary (or 1/2 tsp. dried) -

How to cook deliciously - Copycat Chipotle Carnitas

1. Stage

Use a fork to poke holes in the pork shoulder, then sprinkle both sides with salt and pepper and rub on minced garlic. Place pork in the slow cooker.

2. Stage

Add chicken broth, bay leaves, thyme, lemon juice and rosemary. Cover and cook for 6 to 8 hours.

3. Stage

Remove pork from slow cooker and place in a separate bowl. Use two forks to shred meat, then serve.
