1. Fresh green beans, trimmed 2 pounds
2. Balsamic Vinegar ½ cup
3. Extra-virgin olive oil ⅓ cup
4. Sweet onion, thinly sliced 1 small
5. Garlic, minced 1 clove
6. Chopped fresh parsley 2 teaspoons
7. White sugar 1 teaspoon
8. Salt 1 teaspoon
9. Freshly ground black pepper to taste 1 teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Easy Green Bean Salad

1 . Stage

Bring a large pot with lightly salted water to a boil over high heat. Add green beans and cook, uncovered, until soft but still firm to the bite, 7 to 10 minutes. Check often so beans don't overcook.

2 . Stage

Combine vinegar, olive oil, onion, garlic, parsley, sugar, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.

3 . Stage

Drain cooked green beans and mix with dressing while still warm. Allow to marinate at room temperature for at least 1 hour. Serve at room temperature or chilled.
