1. 1 cup apricot nectar -
2. 3/4 cup finely chopped dried apricots -
3. 1/3 cup honey -
4. 1/4 cup maple syrup -
5. 2 tablespoons lemon juice -
6. 8 cups sliced peeled tart apples (about 8 large) -
7. 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour -
8. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon -
9. 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger -
10. 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom -
11. Topping: -
12. 3/4 cup all-purpose flour -
13. 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats -
14. 1/4 cup canola oil -
15. 1/4 cup maple syrup -
16. 1/2 cup chopped pecans, optional -

How to cook deliciously - Gingered Apricot-Apple Crumble

1. Stage

In a large bowl, combine the first 5 ingredients. Arrange apples in an ungreased 13x9-in. baking dish.

2. Stage

Combine flour, cinnamon, ginger and cardamom; stir into the apricot mixture. Spoon over apples.

3. Stage

Combine topping ingredients, including pecans if desired; sprinkle over fruit. Bake at 350° for 50-60 minutes or until topping is golden brown and fruit is tender.
