2. Hibiscus syrup ½ fluid ounce
3. Freshly squeezed lime juice ½ fluid ounce
4. Aromatic bitters (such as Angostura®) 3 dashes
5. Ice cubes 3 dashes
6. Ginger beer, or more to taste 4 fluid ounces

Combine rum, hibiscus syrup, lime juice, and bitters in a highball glass. Add enough ice to bring liquid volume up halfway; stir to combine. Top mixture with ginger beer.
