2. Hibiscus syrup - ½ fluid ounce
3. Freshly squeezed lime juice - ½ fluid ounce
4. Aromatic bitters (such as Angostura®) - 3 dashes
5. Ice cubes - 3 dashes
6. Ginger beer, or more to taste - 4 fluid ounces

1. Stage

Combine rum, hibiscus syrup, lime juice, and bitters in a highball glass. Add enough ice to bring liquid volume up halfway; stir to combine. Top mixture with ginger beer.
