Ingredients for - Sauteed Cabbage and Apples

1. Salted butter 2 tablespoons
2. Red cabbage, cored and thinly sliced 1 small head
3. Granny Smith apple - peeled, cored, and sliced 1 medium
4. Sweet onion, cut into thin wedges ½ small
5. Fennel seeds, crushed 1 teaspoon
6. Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste 1 teaspoon
7. Red wine ¼ cup
8. Apple cider vinegar ½ teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Sauteed Cabbage and Apples

1 . Stage

Melt butter in a large saute pan over medium heat. Add cabbage, apple, onion, fennel seeds, salt, and pepper. Saute until the cabbage softens and wilts, about 20 minutes.

2 . Stage

Pour red wine into the pan and bring to a boil while scraping the browned bits of food off the bottom of the pan with a wooden spoon. Stir in vinegar.
