Ingredients for - Sauteed Cabbage and Apples

1. Salted butter - 2 tablespoons
2. Red cabbage, cored and thinly sliced - 1 small head
3. Granny Smith apple - peeled, cored, and sliced - 1 medium
4. Sweet onion, cut into thin wedges - ½ small
5. Fennel seeds, crushed - 1 teaspoon
6. Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste - 1 teaspoon
7. Red wine - ¼ cup
8. Apple cider vinegar - ½ teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Sauteed Cabbage and Apples

1. Stage

Melt butter in a large saute pan over medium heat. Add cabbage, apple, onion, fennel seeds, salt, and pepper. Saute until the cabbage softens and wilts, about 20 minutes.

2. Stage

Pour red wine into the pan and bring to a boil while scraping the browned bits of food off the bottom of the pan with a wooden spoon. Stir in vinegar.
