1. Water - 5 cups
2. Beef soup base (such as LeGout®) - 2 tablespoons
3. Cubed cooked prime rib - 4 cups
4. Potatoes, peeled and diced - 4 large
5. Frozen mixed vegetables - 2 cups
6. Red wine - 1 cup
7. Onion, diced - 1 large
8. Ketchup - ½ cup
9. Celery, diced - 3 stalks
10. Carrots, peeled and diced - 2
11. Minced garlic - 1 tablespoon
12. Dried parsley - 1 teaspoon
13. Dried thyme - ½ teaspoon
14. Salt and ground black pepper to taste - ½ teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Prime Rib Stew

1. Stage

Combine water and beef base in a 6-quart slow cooker and stir well.

2. Stage

Add prime rib, potatoes, frozen vegetables, red wine, onion, ketchup, celery, carrots, garlic, parsley, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook on Low until vegetables are tender, 6 to 8 hours.
