1. Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
2. Finely chopped onion - ¼ cup
3. Minced garlic, or more to taste - 3 tablespoons
4. Tomato sauce - 3 (14.5 ounce) cans
5. Tomato paste - 1 (6 ounce) can
6. Red wine - 1 tablespoon
7. Balsamic Vinegar - 1 tablespoon
8. Ground basil - 1 tablespoon
9. Salt - 1 teaspoon
10. Ground black pepper - 1 teaspoon
11. Dried cilantro - 1 teaspoon
12. Chili powder - 1 teaspoon
13. Ground paprika - 1 teaspoon
14. Ground oregano - 1 teaspoon
15. Bay leaves - 2 large
16. White sugar - 1 pinch
17. Ground cinnamon - 1 pinch

How to cook deliciously - Slow Cooker Marinara Sauce

1. Stage

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Saute onion and garlic in the hot oil until soft, about 5 minutes. Transfer to a slow cooker.

2. Stage

Add tomato sauce and tomato paste to the slow cooker and set temperature to Low. Cook and stir until the paste melts, 3 to 4 minutes. Add wine, vinegar, basil, salt, pepper, cilantro, chili powder, paprika, oregano, bay leaves, sugar, and cinnamon; stir until well combined.

3. Stage

Cover, and cook, stirring once in a while, until reduced, 6 to 8 hours. Remove bay leaves and serve.
