1. Smoked turkey legs 2
2. Water 8 cups
3. Chicken bouillon (such as Knorr®) 4 cubes
4. Onion, quartered 1
5. Celery, chopped 2 stalks
6. Inner stalk of celery with leaves, chopped 1 small
7. Baby carrots, sliced 1 cup
8. Garlic, minced 2 cloves
9. Bay leaves 2
10. Garlic powder 1 tablespoon
11. Onion Powder 1 tablespoon
12. Ground black pepper 2 teaspoons
13. Dried thyme 1 teaspoon
14. Dried marjoram 1 teaspoon
15. Curry powder (Optional) 1 teaspoon
16. Uncooked wild rice 1 cup
17. Half-and-half 1 quart

How to cook deliciously - Smoked Turkey Wild Rice Soup

1 . Stage

Place turkey legs, water, bouillon cubes, onion, celery, carrots, garlic, bay leaves, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, thyme, marjoram, and curry powder in a soup pot; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.

2 . Stage

Stir in wild rice. Simmer soup for at least 1 hour. Remove turkey legs; strip meat from the bones and tendons. Chop meat and return it to soup.

3 . Stage

Pour in half-and-half and heat to just below a simmer; cook on low heat for about 30 more minutes.
