1. Smoked turkey legs - 2
2. Water - 8 cups
3. Chicken bouillon (such as Knorr®) - 4 cubes
4. Onion, quartered - 1
5. Celery, chopped - 2 stalks
6. Inner stalk of celery with leaves, chopped - 1 small
7. Baby carrots, sliced - 1 cup
8. Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
9. Bay leaves - 2
10. Garlic powder - 1 tablespoon
11. Onion Powder - 1 tablespoon
12. Ground black pepper - 2 teaspoons
13. Dried thyme - 1 teaspoon
14. Dried marjoram - 1 teaspoon
15. Curry powder (Optional) - 1 teaspoon
16. Uncooked wild rice - 1 cup
17. Half-and-half - 1 quart

How to cook deliciously - Smoked Turkey Wild Rice Soup

1. Stage

Place turkey legs, water, bouillon cubes, onion, celery, carrots, garlic, bay leaves, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, thyme, marjoram, and curry powder in a soup pot; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.

2. Stage

Stir in wild rice. Simmer soup for at least 1 hour. Remove turkey legs; strip meat from the bones and tendons. Chop meat and return it to soup.

3. Stage

Pour in half-and-half and heat to just below a simmer; cook on low heat for about 30 more minutes.
