1. Medium shrimp, peeled (tails left on) and deveined - 1 pound
2. Salt - ½ teaspoon
3. Ground black pepper - ½ teaspoon
4. Garlic powder - ½ teaspoon
5. All-purpose flour - 1 cup
6. Paprika - 1 teaspoon
7. Eggs, beaten - 2 large
8. Panko crumbs - 1 cup
9. Vegetable oil for frying - 1 quart

How to cook deliciously - Japanese-Style Deep-Fried Shrimp

1. Stage

Place shrimp in a bowl and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix flour and paprika together in a shallow bowl. Place eggs in a second bowl and panko in a third bowl.

Heat oil in a deep fryer or deep skillet to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Dip each shrimp into flour mixture, then into egg, and finally into panko crumbs to coat.
