1. Cubed beef stew meat 6 ounces
2. Onion, chopped ½ large
3. Garlic, minced 3 cloves
4. Zucchini, chopped 1 large
5. Yellow squash, chopped 1 medium
6. Tomatoes, chopped 3
7. Chili powder 1 teaspoon
8. Cumin 1 teaspoon
9. Dried oregano 1 teaspoon
10. Italian seasoning 1 teaspoon
11. Red pepper flakes ½ teaspoon
12. Cooked chicken breast, cubed 1
13. Chicken broth 3 cups
14. Cream or milk 2 tablespoons
15. Frozen corn ½ (10 ounce) package

How to cook deliciously - Southwest Garden Stew

1 . Stage

Cook beef in a large pot over medium heat until browned on all sides. Stir in onion, garlic, zucchini, squash, and tomatoes. Cook, stirring, for 3 to 5 minutes.

2 . Stage

Stir in chili powder, cumin, oregano, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Stir in chicken, broth, and cream. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer 2 hours.

3 . Stage

Stir in corn. Cover, and increase heat to medium low. Simmer for 45 minutes. If the stew becomes too thick, stir in a little water to reach the desired consistency.
