1. 1 c. chopped ripe strawberries -
2. 1 8-oz. block cream cheese, softened -
3. 2 1/2 c. powdered sugar -
4. 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract -
5. 1 tbsp. heavy cream -
6. 3 drops pink food coloring -

How to cook deliciously - Strawberries 'N Cream Frosting

1. Stage

In a blender, puree strawberries until almost smooth, about 1 minute.

2. Stage

In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, add cream cheese and beat until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla, beating first on low, then increasing speed to high, until mixture is mostly smooth. Scrape down sides of bowl.

3. Stage

Add heavy cream and strawberry mixture, and beat until stiff peaks form and frosting thickens, about 4 minutes. Beat in food coloring one drop at a time, if using.
