2. 1 c. apple cider -
3. 2 c. (240 g.) all-purpose flour -
4. 1 tsp. baking powder -
5. 1 tsp. kosher salt -
6. 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg -
7. 1/4 tsp. ground ginger -
8. 3 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon, divided -
9. 3/4 c. vegetable oil -
10. 1/2 c. (105 g.) packed dark brown sugar -
11. 1 c. (200 g.) granulated sugar, divided -
12. 1 large egg -
13. 6 tbsp. unsalted butter, melted -
14. 2 (6-cavity) donut pans -

How to cook deliciously - Apple Cider Donuts

1. Stage

Preheat oven to 350°. Grease 2 donut pans with cooking spray. In a small pot over medium heat, bring apple cider to a boil. Cook until reduced to about 1/2 cup, 10 to 15 minutes. Let cool.

Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, ginger, and 2 teaspoons cinnamon until combined.

In a large bowl, whisk oil, brown sugar, and 1/2 cup granulated sugar until combined. Add egg and whisk until incorporated. Add dry ingredients and apple cider and whisk until just combined.

Transfer batter to a piping or plastic bag, snip off a small corner, and pipe into prepared pans (or spoon batter in) until about three-quarters full.

5. Stage

Bake donuts until tops are dry, 12 to 15 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack.

In a wide shallow bowl, combine remaining 1/2 cup granulated sugar and 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon. While donuts are still warm, brush with butter, then toss in cinnamon sugar.
