How to cook deliciously - Brown Butter Mashed Potatoes
1. Stage
In a large pot filled with cool water, add potatoes and bring to a boil. Simmer until potatoes are tender, about 12 minutes.
2. Stage
In a small pan over low heat melt the butter. Cook until butter is toasted, 8 to 10 minutes. (Careful not to burn.)
3. Stage
Drain potatoes and return to the pot over medium heat, stir for 2 minutes. Add milk, 1 tsp salt, and mash potatoes until creamy. Stir in half of the brown butter.
4. Stage
Transfer to a serving dish and top with remaining butter. Garnish with scallions. Serve immediately.
