1. 7 slices white bread, crusts removed and cubed -
2. 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese -
3. 6 large eggs, lightly beaten -
4. 3 cups 2% milk -
5. 1 teaspoon ground mustard -
6. 1/2 teaspoon salt -
7. 1/4 teaspoon pepper -
8. 6 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled -

How to cook deliciously - Christmas Breakfast Casserole

1. Stage

In a greased 11x7-inch baking dish, combine the bread and cheese. In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, mustard, salt and pepper and pour over the bread and cheese. Sprinkle with bacon. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

2. Stage

Remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Bake, uncovered, at 350°F until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean, for 50 to 55 minutes. Let it stand for 10 minutes before serving.
