Ingredients for - Cran-Apple Crisp

1. 4 peeled tart apples, chopped (about 3 1/2 cups) -
2. 2 c. fresh or frozen cranberries -
3. 1 c. granulated sugar -
4. 3/4 c. plus 3 tbsp. all-purpose flour -
5. 1 tsp. ground cinnamon -
6. 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract -
7. Kosher salt  -
8. 2 1/4 c. Quaker Old Fashioned Oats -
9. 3/4 c. packed light brown sugar -
10. 1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter, melted -
11. Vanilla ice cream, for serving -

How to cook deliciously - Cran-Apple Crisp

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 375°. In a medium bowl, toss the apples with the cranberries, sugar, 3 tablespoons of the flour, cinnamon, vanilla, and 1/4 teaspoon of the salt. Spread into the bottom of a 2-quart baking dish. 

2. Stage

In another medium bowl, toss the oats with the brown sugar, remaining 3/4 cup of flour, and a large pinch of salt. Pour the melted butter into the oat mixture and stir until just combined. Crumble evenly over the apple filling.

3. Stage

Bake until topping is crisp and golden and filling is bubbling in the center, about 45 to 55 minutes. Let cool at least 10 minutes before serving. Serve warm with ice cream.
