4. Olive oil - 1 teaspoon
5. Chicken broth - 6 cups
6. Water - 3 cups
7. Salsa - 1 cup
8. Dried lentils, rinsed - 16 ounces
9. Bay leaf - 1
10. Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
11. Dried rosemary - 1 teaspoon
12. Salt and ground black pepper to taste - 1 teaspoon
13. Fresh spinach, torn - 1 (10 ounce) package
14. Cubed potatoes - 1 cup

How to cook deliciously - Easy Spinach Lentil Soup

1. Stage

Place bacon in a large skillet or Dutch oven and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Stir in carrot, onion, and olive oil cooking until tender, about 5 minutes.

Cover bacon mixture with chicken broth, water, and salsa; mix in lentils, bay leaf, cumin, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil over high heat; reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer until lentils are tender, 40 to 50 minutes.
