3. Vanilla extract - 2 teaspoons
4. Eggs, at room temperature - 6 large
5. All-purpose flour - 3 cups
6. Salt - ¼ teaspoon
7. Baking soda - ¼ teaspoon
8. Sour cream - 1 (8 ounce) container

Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan.

Cream sugar and butter together in a bowl until smooth. Add vanilla extract and mix. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
