Ingredients for - Grammie's Sweet Milk Cookies

1. Egg - 1
2. White sugar - 1 cup
3. Shortening - ½ cup
4. Baking soda - 1 teaspoon
5. Cream of tartar - 2 teaspoons
6. Ground nutmeg - ¼ teaspoon
7. Salt - ¼ teaspoon
8. All-purpose flour - 2 cups
9. Granulated sugar for decoration - ⅓ cup
10. Sweetened condensed milk - ¾ cup

How to cook deliciously - Grammie's Sweet Milk Cookies

1. Stage

Mix all ingredients, except flour. Add enough flour to make a rollable dough, about 2 cups.

2. Stage

Roll out to approximately 1/2 inch thick. Cut with round biscuit cutter and sprinkle with sugar.

Bake in a preheated 350 degree F (175 degree C) oven for 8 - 10 minutes.
