1. 1/2 cup butter, softened -
2. 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened -
3. 1-1/4 cups sugar -
4. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract -
5. 1 teaspoon green food coloring -
6. 2 large eggs -
7. 3 cups all-purpose flour -
8. 2 teaspoons baking powder -
9. 1/4 teaspoon salt -
10. 1 cup confectioners' sugar -
11. 48 heart-shaped gumdrops -

How to cook deliciously - Grinch Cookies

1. Stage

In a large bowl, beat the butter, cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Beat in the vanilla, food coloring and eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt; gradually beat into the creamed mixture. Refrigerate, covered, for one hour or until the dough is firm enough to shape.

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Shape the dough into 1 1/2-inch balls; roll in confectioners' sugar. Place two inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.

4. Stage

Bake until the tops are cracked and the edges are set (about 12 to 15 minutes). Immediately press a heart gumdrop into each cookie. Cool the cookies for five minutes before removing to wire racks to cool.
